Why won't my Wen GN625i start?
    • K
      Katherine McleanJul 28, 2025
If your Wen Portable Generator engine won't start, first ensure the engine switch and fuel valve are set to ON. Check the oil and fuel levels, adding or replacing them as needed. If the fuel is old or contaminated, drain and refill the tank with fresh fuel. Inspect the spark plug, cleaning or replacing it if necessary. Finally, if the carburetor is air locked, shut off the fuel valve, remove the bolt from the bottom of the carburetor, take off the carburetor bowl to allow it to reset, and then reassemble.

What to do if my Wen GN625i Portable Generator runs but has no electrical output?
    • M
      Michael LeeAug 4, 2025
If your Wen Portable Generator runs but provides no electrical output, the circuit breaker may have tripped due to an overload. Turn off and unplug all connected devices, wait 5 minutes, and then reset the circuit breaker. Check your cords and replace if damaged. Try a different device to check if the connected device is faulty.

Why is my Wen GN625i not supporting all my devices?
    • S
      Sherry MackAug 12, 2025
If your Wen Portable Generator runs but can't support all connected electrical devices, it may be overloaded. Turn off and unplug all devices, wait 5 minutes, and reset the circuit breaker. Reduce the load by using fewer devices or devices with lower power requirements. A short circuit in one of the connected devices may also be the reason. Try disconnecting devices one by one to identify the faulty load. Also, check and clean the air filter.

How to fix a Wen GN625i Portable Generator when the engine is 'hunting'?
    • P
      Philip RangelAug 20, 2025
If your Wen Portable Generator engine RPM is fluctuating, first check if the fuel is consistently running through the fuel valve. Then, inspect the air filter for blockages and clean it if necessary. Also, check the muffler or spark arrester for any obstructions and clean them with a metal brush if needed. Finally, consider using a 'gunk remover' spray on the carburetor jets to address any gunk preventing a consistent fuel/air mixture.
