Care
Your scanner is not waterproof. Do not expose it
to rain, moisture, or extremely high humidity. If
the scanner gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use
and store the scanner only in normal temperature
environments. Handle the scanner carefully; do not
drop it. Keep the scanner away from dust and dirt,
and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it
looking new.
Initializing the Scanner
Ifthescanner’sdisplaylocksupordoesnotwork
properly after you connect a power source, you might
need to initialize the scanner.
Important: This procedure clears all information you
storedinthescanner’smemory.Onlyinitializethe
scanner when you are sure the scanner is not working
properly.
Important: Do not turn off the scanner until the
initialization is complete. When the initialization is
complete, 1CH 000.0000 appears on the display.
1. Turn off the scanner, then turn it on again.
WELCOME SCAnnInG rECEIVEr appears.
2. Press 0, then press 1 while the welcome message
is on the screen. InItIAL appears for about two
seconds, then YES — Ent and No — CLEAr appear
alternately.
3. Press ENT. WAIt appears for about two seconds.
