A beep should confirm the signal reception. * Allow the compressor 3 minutes to activate after selecting Cooling mode. * Try setting the air conditioner to a lower temperature. * Also, the internal water reservoir might be full; drain it manually or let the unit exhaust the water itself to resume cooling.
