Why the air coming out of Whynter ARC-110WD Air Conditioner is not very cold?
    • W
      washingtonpeterJul 26, 2025
If the air coming out of your Whynter Air Conditioner isn't very cold or the airflow is weak, the filters might be dirty, so clean them. Also, check for obstructions in the air intake or exhaust; ensure at least 20" of clearance from the air intake. Keep the exhaust hose as short as possible. Make sure the unit is set to cooling mode and try setting it to a higher fan speed.

What to do if Whynter Air Conditioner is very noisy?

      Ana BruceJul 31, 2025
If your Whynter Air Conditioner is making a lot of noise, ensure it's placed on a hard, level, and stable surface. If the surface is uneven, move the unit to a location with a level and hard floor. Also, ensure the wall outlet supports the air conditioner's power consumption and avoid using an extension cord, as low power voltage can cause noise.

Why Whynter ARC-110WD Air Conditioner does not turn on?
    • B
      Brent BuchananAug 10, 2025
Your Whynter Air Conditioner might not be turning on due to several reasons: a power failure or outage, a tripped switch, fuse, or breaker, low power supply voltage, a damaged power cord, a tripped L.C.D.I. power plug, or a full internal water reservoir. To resolve this: restore the power supply, flip the switch/change the fuse/turn the breaker back on, move other appliances to another circuit if too many are drawing power, move the unit to another circuit with the correct voltage, press the Reset button on the L.C.D.I. power plug, or drain water from the air conditioner. If the power cord is damaged, call for service; only authorized personnel should replace it.

Why Whynter Air Conditioner unit turns on but the compressor does not turn on?
    • C
      Chelsea JacksonAug 15, 2025
If your Whynter Air Conditioner turns on, but the compressor doesn't, it could be due to the room temperature being outside the unit's operational range (64°F to 95°F). Also, make sure the COOL light is displayed by pressing the MODE button. Note that the compressor needs 3 minutes to start after selecting the Cooling mode. Try setting the air conditioner to a lower temperature, ideally at least 5°F below the ambient temperature. If the water tank is full, manually drain the water or allow the unit to exhaust it in fan-only mode, then cooling will resume.

What to do if Whynter ARC-110WD Air Conditioner has worked for a long time, but the room is not cold enough?
    • S
      Scott CampbellAug 20, 2025
If your Whynter Air Conditioner has been running but the room isn't cold enough, close all windows and doors. Close curtains or blinds to minimize direct sunlight. You may need additional cooling or another air conditioner.
