6.4 Configuration of the instrument
The availability of some of the menu items is dependant on the current
instrument settings (e.g. a few menu items will be locked, if the logger
contains data).
1. To configure, press the [SET/MENU] button for 2 seconds.
The main menu SEt is accessed.
2. Keep pressing the [SET/MENU] button until the desired function is displayed.
3. With the [▶/TARA] button, select the parameters.
4. With the [▼/MIN] or [▲/MAX] buttons, set the parameters.
5. Step the parameter forward using the [▲/TARA] button.
6. With the [STORE/QUIT] button, confirm the entry.
7. Press the [SET/MENU] button.
Return to main menu.
If the [SET/MENU] and [STORE/QUIT] buttons are pressed, together for
longer than 2 seconds, the factory settings will be restored.
Data in the individual value logger (logger: Fvnc Stor) is displayed as the
initial menu read Lo66, also see chapter 6.5 “Data logger”.
If no button is pressed within 2 minutes, the configuration of the instrument
will be interrupted. Changes made up until that point will not be saved!
6.4.1 Pressure units (unit)
Depending on the connected sensors, in “MENU (Unit)” different units can be selected.
Depending on the measuring range, the selection may be limited.
6.4.2 Altitude correction for absolute pressure sensor (SL) and (ALti)
With a connected absolute pressure sensor, the instrument measures absolute pressure.
This is not to be confused with the “air pressure at sea level” given by the weather station.
With this pressure indication, the altitude-dependent atmospheric pressure drop is
calculated. The instrument is capable of making this air pressure altitude correction.
Setting of SL and Alti
1. Press the [SET/MENU] button for 2 seconds.
The main menu SEt Conf is accessed.
2. With the [▶/TARA] button, select the SLparameters.
3. With the [▼/MIN] or [▲/MAX] buttons, activate the SLparameter.
4. With the [STORE/QUIT] button, confirm the entry.
5. With the [▶/TARA] button, select the ALtiparameters.
