Disassembly / Reassembly
Step 7
Gently remove the pilot spool from the
sleeve and inspect for nicks, wear or
damage. Replace the pilot spool
assembly or sleeve O-rings, if necessary.
During reassembly, never insert the
dimpled end of the pilot spool first. This
will damage the single urethane O-ring
bypassing it over the ports in the pilot
sleeve.
NOTE: Do not remove seals
from the assembly. Seals are
not sold separately.
Step 8
Remove the modulator spool from
the center section. Check for wear to
the spool or O-rings and replace,
if necessary.
Step 9
Repeat steps 3 and 4.
Step 10
Using an O-ring pick, remove the two
(2) shaft bushings from the center
block. Inspect and replace, if
necessary.
Using an O-ring pick, gently remove the
two (2) Glyd rings from the center block.
Inspect and replace if necessary.
Step 11
Using an O-ring pick, remove the two
(2) seals from the modulator spoolbore.
Inspect and replace, if necessary.
Step 12
Remove the pilot exhaust muffler and
inspect for damage or contamination.
Replace, if necessary..
