Locking cap with steam control function
min 0 max
Steam control cap with the functions max. (steam cooking), min. (risottos, creamy desserts, sauces, etc.) and 0
to remove the locking cap.
The “max.” position maintains the maximum amount of heat and steam in the pot for all steam cooking
functions (e.g. soups). This position also prevents splashes when mixing.
The “min.” position allows the maximum amount of condensation to escape, giving food or sauces a better
consistency.
Please make sure that the lid is locked at the min. or max. level, otherwise it may fall out.

You can brown food in the pot without the lid on. While doing so, you can stir the food and monitor the
cooking process.
The function for cooking without a lid is not suitable for jams, milk-based mixtures or tomato sauces (risk
of splashing).
Do not remove the drive shaft immediately after use. Carefully pour water into the empty pot to cool it
down. Attention, there is a risk of splashing if the pot is still very hot.
