3| Weigh the ingredient shown on the screen by
adding it to the pot and pressing OK.
4| If the step requires more than one ingredient,
the screen will display the name of the next
ingredient to be weighed.
5| Once all of the ingredients in the step have
been weighed, press OK and continue with
the recipe by following the information on
the center button.
Manual weighing: You can weigh all ingre-
dients before preparing your recipe in manual
mode or with automatic programs.
1| Press the scale symbol (Fig. F1).
2| Wait a few seconds for the automatic cali-
bration to be completed.
3| Weigh the ingredient (Fig. F2).
4| If you want to weigh more ingredients, cal-
ibrate the scale by pressing the Tare button
and add the next ingredient. Without inter-
mediate calibration, the maximum weight
allowed in a single weighing is 4 kg. Above
this weight, an overload message will be dis-
played (Fig. F2).
NOTE
The scale display is reset to 0 with the
Tare button. You can choose from dif-
ferent units (g, cl, ml, oz). The unit of weight is
changed with the Unit button (g, cl, ml, oz).
5| Repeat this process as many times as neces-
sary without exceeding a total weight of 8
kg.
ATTENTION
Do not exceed the maximum levels
indicated in Section 4.1 during use.
NOTE
After 15 minutes of inactivity, the appliance
switches to standby mode. You can press the
display

or one of the touch keys

to
exit standby mode.
5.6| UPDATES
To ensure that the product functions work opti-
mally, your WMF Avantgarde has the option
of performing updates. For this, a window
appears on the display asking you to accept or
not accept installation of the latest available
update. If you tap Accept, your WMF Avant-
garde will carry out the update.
5.7| OFFLINE MODE
You can use the WMF Avantgarde in offline
mode. The following functions are available in
offline mode:
Recipe library: See Section 4.4 for detailed
information on the recipe library. The recipe
library gives you access to 300 recipes.
Automatic programs: Detailed information on
using automatic programs can be found above.
Manual mode: Detailed information on using
the manual mode can be found above.
