7| TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1| IMPORTANT NOTES
WARNING
Repairs to the wiring and work on elec-
trical components may only be carried
out by qualified specialists. Failure to follow
these instructions could result in death from
electric shock. Do not use the appliance if it is
visibly damaged!
IMPORTANT: The appliance switches to
safety mode!
Your appliance comes with electronic motor
protection devices as standard to ensure a
long life. This electronic safety system protects
the motor from abnormal use, giving it full
protection.
Under certain very extreme operating condi-
tions which do not comply with the recom-
mendations in the handbook ("YOUR MACHINE"
table: quantities that may be too large and/or
unusually long operating times and/or insuf-
ficient pauses between recipes), the electronic
protection system protecting the motor trips. In
this case, the appliance turns off and a safety
message appears on the display to indicate that
the appliance is temporarily not operational.
If a safety message appears on the display and
the appliance stops working, do the following:
•
Leave the appliance plugged in and the on/off
switch in position 1 (Fig. C8).
•
For information on changing the program set-
tings, see the recommendations on the display
(information on ingredient quantities, cooking
time, temperature and accessory type).
•
If you have any questions, please contact our
customer service (for contact information, see
the warranty statement).
IMPORTANT: This appliance is equipped with
a microprocessor that controls and monitors
its stability!
•
In the event of instability, the motor speed is
automatically reduced. If this instability per-
sists, the motor will stop, and a safety mes-
sage appears on the screen.
•
Make sure not to overload with ingredients,
and to choose a suitable speed.
•
Check that you are using the recommended
accessories.
•
Then restart your appliance as usual.
