Flowratecalculation The ow rate is calculated using the effective pressure method. This involves
comparing the static pressure upstream of the inlet nozzle with the static
pressure in the inlet nozzle.
The ow rate can be calculated from effective pressure Δp
w
(differential pressure of the two static pressures) using the following equation.
The doors must be closed to determine the correct ow rate. Route the test
hoses to the outside when conducting the test.
Due to the installation conditions of the fans, K values differing from the
manufacturer's specications must be used for ow rate determination.
