SECTION 3 SETUP & OPERATION
3.1 Multi-Planer Setup
IMPORTANT! Before starting to use the Multi-Planer you have to meet
the following conditions:
Set up the Multi-Planer on firm, level ground and level the machine. Secure the planer to the
ground to prevent moving during operation. A cement pad with 8-10 mm diameter anchor
bolts is recommended.
The Multi-Planer can be operated indoors with the sawdust collection system only.
The Multi-Planer cannot be operated when it is raining/snowing and in case of rain or snow
the machine must be stored under roof or indoors.
The Multi-Planer can be operated in temperatures ranging from -15
o
C to 40
o
C only.
The illuminance at the operator's position should be at least 300 lx

See figure 3-1. The figure shows the MP180 Multi-Planer controls.
1. The light source cannot cause the stroboscopic effect.
