If your Worx Chainsaw chain/chain bar overheats, it could be due to several reasons: 1. There may be no oil in the reservoir. Refill the oil reservoir. 2. The vent in the oil filler cap might be clogged. Clear the vent in the oil filler cap. 3. The oil passage could be clogged. Unclog the oil passage. 4. The chain might be over tensioned. Loosen the chain tension. 5. The chain could be dull. Sharpen or replace the chain.
