[8] IGNITION COIL
Ignition coil is a transformer to generate high electric
voltage necessary for the ignition. Around the iron core
of multi-layer thin crude steel plates, secondary coil is
wound, on whose outside, in the same direction, primary
coil is wound. The empty space in the case is filled with
resin for electric insulation and good heat radiation.
The ignition timing is controlled by ECU and the high
voltage is applied to the spark plugs by the ECU signals.
