Despeckle—helps remove noise from the page. Speckle diameter allows you to specify how large of speckles to
remove; a larger number means larger speckles.
Edge cleanup—manually set how much of the edge to erase. Especially helpful to remove overscan.
Threshold technique—allows you to specify how the document is converted to black and white.
• Tex t: Plain white paper with black text
• Photo: Color and grayscale images or photos
• Mixed content: Pages with both text and images
• Dynamic thresholding: Pages with colored backgrounds and/or light or colored text
