Control Panel Error Messages
This section describes the messages displayed on the control panel.
Messages About Supplies
XXX indicates one of the following: the Yellow Toner (Y), Cyan Toner (C), Magenta Toner (M),
Black Toner (K), or fuser.
NNN indicates a numeric value.
Message Condition/Reason/Action
Replace Fuser

Restart Printer
Time to replace the fuser.
Replace the old fuser with a new one.
010-359
Fuser Error
Restart Printer
The fuser is not installed correctly or is not working correctly due
to damage or malfunction.
Reinstall the fuser.
010-317
Insert Fuser
Restart Printer
The fuser is not installed.
Install the fuser.
093-NNN
Insert XXX Cartridge
The XXX toner cartridge is not installed correctly or is not working
correctly due to damage or malfunction.
Reinstall the toner cartridge.
093-NNN
Check XXX Cartridge
Sealing tape is still attached to the XXX toner cartridge.
Remove the sealing tape from the displayed toner cartridge.
093-NNN
Insert XXX Cartridge
The XXX toner cartridge is not installed correctly or is not working
correctly due to damage or malfunction.
Reinstall the toner cartridge.

Insert Imaging Unit
The imaging unit is not installed.
Install the imaging unit.
See Checking/Managing the Printer with CentreWare IS on
page 8-5.
Replace Imaging Unit
Time to replace the imaging unit. Replace old imaging unit with
new one.
Restart Printer
NNN-NNN
The fuser is not installed correctly or is not working correctly due
to damage or malfunction.
Reinstall the fuser.
Replace XXX
Toner Cartridge
The toner cartridge has become empty.
Replace the old toner cartridge with a new one.
