Contact Management
Local Directory
You can store a large number of contacts in your phone's local directory. You can add,
edit, delete, dial, or search for a contact in this directory.
To add a group to the local directory via phone user interface:
1) Press ->Local Directory.
2) Press Left/Right navigation key to select AddGroup and then press .
3) Enter the group name and select a ring tone.
4) Press to save the change or to cancel
To add a contact to the local directory via phone user interface:
1) Press ->Local Directory.
2) Press Up/Down navigation key to select the desired group.
3) Press Left/Right navigation key to select Enter and then press .
4) Press Up/Down navigation key to scroll to <New Item> Add and then press .
5) Enter the Name and the Office, Mobile or Other numbers.
Press to change the input mode.
6) Press Left/Right navigation key to select an account from the Account field. If
Auto is selected, the phone will use the first available account when placing calls to
the contact from the local directory.
7) Press Left/Right navigation key to select a ring tone from the Ring Tones field.
8) Press to save the change or to cancel.
To edit a contact in the local directory via phone user interface:
1) Press ->Local Directory.
2) Press Up/Down navigation key to select the desired group.
3) Press Left/Right navigation key to select Enter and then press .
4) Press Up/Down navigation key to scroll to the desired contact
5) Press Left/Right navigation key to select Edit and then press .
6) Update the information of the contact.
7) Press to save the change or to cancel.
To delete a contact from the local directory via phone user interface:
1) Press ->Local Directory.
2) Press Up/Down navigation key to select the desired group.
3) Press Left/Right navigation key to select Enter and then press .
4) Press Up/Down navigation key to scroll to the desired contact.
5) Press Left/Right navigation key to select Del and then press .
The LCD screen prompts “Delete Selected Item?”.
6) Press to confirm the deleting or to cancel.
To search a contact via phone user interface:
1) Press ->Local Directory.
2) Press Up/Down navigation key to select the desired group.
