How to fix an Xray Toy when the engine does not start?
    • J
      Jonathan DuncanAug 23, 2025
If the engine of your Xray Toy does not start, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure that the fuel tank is filled with fuel and primed. If that's not the issue, check the glowplug and glowdriver battery, replacing them if they are bad or dead. Also, inspect the fuel lines, fuel filter, air cleaner, or muffler for any clogs, and clean or replace the affected parts. If the engine is flooded, remove the glowplug and turn the car over to discharge fuel from the cylinder, testing and replacing the glowplug if needed. Finally, make sure that the carburetor and throttle servo linkage are properly adjusted; set the carburetor to the standard starting position and readjust the throttle servo linkage in neutral position.
