Pool Heater Not Running:
• If the heat pump control is set to off
▪ Turn it on
• If the desired water temperature is reached
▪ The unit will automatically restart when the water temperature drops below the set point
• If the main breaker is tripped
▪ Reset it and restart the heater
• If the filter is dirty and restricting water flow
▪ Backwash and clean the filter
Fan Running, But Compressor Not:
• If the heat pump is in protection mode
▪ There may be a delay before restarting
• If the unit is on a defrost cycle
▪ The compressor will automatically start again after a few minutes unless it stops three
times continuously
No Display and Fan Not Running, But Compressor Is:
• Have an electrician verify the heat pump's power supply by checking the L1/L2/L3 connec-
tions in the unit's service box.
Water Around the Unit:
• Condensation during the heating mode is normal. To check for leaks, stop the heater, keep
the pool pump running for over 5 hours, and if water still comes out, contact your dealer for
service.
Heater Running, But Desired Water Temperature Not Reached:
• Heat loss may be too significant
▪ Cover your pool as often as possible
• If the evaporator is restricted due to improper location or is dirty
▪ Clean it by running tap water over the coil without a nozzle attachment.
▪ Do not use pressurized water.
• Adjust water flow if restricted.
