Summary

INSTALLATION

JOIN THE TWO HALVES TOGETHER

Connects the front and rear halves of the product using couplers and specific wrenches.

LOOSEN THE MOUNTING PLATES

Adjusts thumbscrews on mounting plates to allow free sliding for positioning.

PLACE ON CROSSBARS

Position the product on the vehicle's crossbars, ensuring proper centering and support.

ATTACH MOUNTING HARDWARE

Secure the product to crossbars using clamps, knobs, and thumbscrews, torquing to specified values.

TEST THE INSTALLATION

Verify the product is securely mounted by pushing and pulling it in all directions.

LOCK CARRIER TO CROSSBARS

Secure the installed carrier to the crossbars using the lock plate and accessory lock.

LOADING RODS

LOAD YOUR RODS

Insert fishing rods into compartments, guides up/sideways, reels supported for secure transport.

OPTIONAL PROTECTION PADS

Use included felt pads for extra reel protection against internal walls.

WEIGHT LIMITS

REMOVAL

UNLOCK AND REMOVE LOCKS

Detach accessory locks and lock plates from the carrier and crossbars.

LOOSEN AND REMOVE CLAMPS

Unscrew knobs and remove the clamping hardware from the crossbars.

LIFT CARRIER OFF CROSSBARS

Safely remove the entire Double Haul unit from the vehicle's crossbars.

HALF SIZE CONFIGURATION

REMOVE END COWL FROM FRONT

Detach the front end cowl using specified wrenches for reconfiguration.

INSTALL END COWL ON REAR

Reattach the removed end cowl to the rear of the product for half-size setup.

REMOVE MOUNTING PLATES

Detach thumbscrews and mounting plates from the front portion for adjustment.

INSTALL PLATES ON REAR

Position and loosely attach the mounting plates to the rear portion for the half-size configuration.

RETURN TO INSTALLATION STEP 3

Re-engage with the main installation process after reconfiguring the unit.
