PLACE PLATFORM ONTO MOUNTING BLOCKS.
NOTE: For vehicles with a rear
hatch be sure to position the
Platform so that there is adequate
hatch clearance when fully opened.
With the help of a friend, carefully lift the
assembled Platform onto the mounting
blocks on your vehicle. Position the platform
evenly so there is an equal overhang on the
sides and ideally on the front and rear as well.
NOTE: Wind
Delector is to be
at the front of
the vehicle.
A. Insert one M8 T-bolt into
each channel of the mounting
blocks on either side of the
slats. Twist the T-bolts so
that they are captured by the
channels.
B. Lower the slat clamp onto
the T-bolt and install an M8
washer and lock nut. Do not
fully tighten. Then slide the
slat clamp so that it engages
in the side channel of the slat.
C. Use a 13mm wrench to fully
tighten the hardware to 7Nm.

It may be necessary to move
the mounting blocks. If you
you need to move them
refer to your mounting kit
instructions (e.g., LockNLoad
SL Adapters or LockNLoad
Crossbar Clamps).
IMPORTANT:
The slat
clamps must
be installed
on two
separate
slats for each
mounting
block.
