Lithium-Ion Battery Care
1. Keep batteries clean.
2. DO NOT overcharge the battery. Use a battery charger
that is correct for your battery. A charger set for an ampere-
hour rate too high will cause a high internal heat and dam-
age the battery. A low ampere-hour rate setting on a
battery charger can require a longer charging time but will
not damage the battery.
3. DO NOT discharge the battery to less than the manufac-
turer's recommendation. If the battery is allowed to dis-
charge too far, it may enter a hibernation mode and require
service to recharge or restart.
4. Prevent batteries from freezing.
5. Keep batteries charged. A discharged battery in storage
will shorten the battery life.
