CHECKING THE FUEL INJECTORS
1. Remove:
• Fuel tank
Refer to “FUEL TANK” on page 7-1.
• Air filter upper cover (for secondary injec-
tor)
Refer to “AIR FILTER CASE” on page 7-
5.
2. Check:
• Fuel injector resistance
Out of specification → Replace the fuel
injector.

a. Disconnect the fuel injector lead coupler
from wire harness.
b. Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) to the
fuel injector coupler.
c. Measure the fuel injector resistance.
