BATTERY REQUIREMENT

Do not use a battery that does not meet
the specified capacity. If a battery which
differs from the specification is used, the
electrical system may perform poorly or
be overloaded, causing electrical sys-
tem damage.

Choose a battery which meets the following
specifications.
If the outboard motor’s battery voltage
becomes too low, the engine cannot be
started.
Minimum cold crank performance
512 Amps at –17.8°C (0°F)
Minimum reserve capacity
182 Minutes at 26.7°C (80°F)
