Fuel meter
The fuel level is indicated by eight seg-
ments. When all segments are showing, the
fuel tank is full.
CAUTION:

The Yamaha fuel tank sensor differs from
conventional sensors. Incorrectly set-
ting the selector switch on the meter will
give false readings. Consult your
Yamaha dealer on how to correctly set
the selector switch.

NOTE:
@
The fuel reading can be affected by the posi-
tion of the sensor in the fuel tank and the
attitude of the boat in the water. Operation
with bow-up trim or continuous turning can
give false readings.

Warning indicators

Fuel warning
If the fuel level decreases to one segment
the fuel level warning segment
1
will begin
blinking.
●
Low battery voltage warning
If battery voltage drops, the display

will
automatically turn on and begin blinking.
CAUTION:

Do not continue to operate the engine if a
warning device has activated. Refer to
the “TROUBLESHOOTING” section in
this manual. Consult your Yamaha dealer
if the problem cannot be located and cor-
rected.
