The above warning labels mean as follows.

WARNING
 Read Owner’s Manuals and labels.
WARNING
Emergency starting does not have start-
in-gear protection. Ensure shift control is
in neutral before starting engine.
 Wear an approved personal flotation de-
vice (PFD).
 Attach engine shut-off cord (lanyard) to
your PFD, arm, or leg so the engine
stops if you accidentally leave the helm,
2 which could prevent a runaway boat.
WARNING
 Keep hands, hair, and clothing away
from rotating parts while the engine is
running.
 Do not touch or remove electrical parts
when starting or during operation.
