ENGINE COOLING WATER
Opening or closing the cooling water system of the engine driving the Sail-Drive is done by
the cooling water cock fixed on the upper case of the Sail-Drive. Be sure to open the cock
(1, Figure 4) and confirm that the cooling water has suction by cranking the engine before
starting the vessel. The cooling water passes through the Sail-Drive case, cools the
engine by the cooling water pump, and is then discharged.
