You can customize your SIP-T22P IP phone by personally configuring certain settings, for
example, backlight, time & date and ring tones. You can add contacts to the phone’s
local directory manually or from call history. You can also personalize different ring
tones for different callers.
This chapter provides basic operating instructions for customizing your phone. Topics

If you require additional information or assistance with your new phone, contact your
system administrator.
You can configure the backlight status on the LCD screen as the following types:
 Always Off: Backlight is turned off permanently.
 Always On: Backlight is on permanently.
 15, 30, 60, 120: Backlight is turned off when the phone is inactive after the specified
time (in seconds).
To configure the backlight via web user interface:
