This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller compressor, revealing the Variable Geometry
Diffuser and provides the capability of calibrating the VGD.
Note: Requires a login access level of SERVICE. Service Technicians must refer to the OptiView
Control Center - Service Instructions (Form 160.76-M1) for operation instructions and explanation
of all programmable setpoints and displayed values.

Field/LED name Description
VGD Opening (LED) Indicates the VGD is opening.
VGD Closing (LED) Indicates the VGD is closing.
VGD Calibrated (LED) Indicates the VGD is calibrated.
VGD Actuator Mode
Indicates the VGD is in Manual mode whenever the Open, Close or Hold keys are
pressed.
Indicates Auto when the Auto key is pressed putting the control in to the automatic
mode.
100% VGD Voltage Displays the feedback voltage calibration at the 100% position.
0% VGD Voltage Displays the feedback voltage calibration at the 0% position.
VGD Feedback Voltage Displays the current VGD position potentiometer feedback voltage.

Button Description
[VGD] Open (Manual) This key puts the VGD in manual mode and sends an OPEN command to the VGD.
[VGD] Close (Manual) This key puts the VGD in manual mode and sends a CLOSE command to the VGD.
[VGD] Hold (Manual) This key puts the VGD in manual mode and sends a HOLD command to the VGD.
