5.3.2 Deactivating and activating alarm devices
An activated alarm device (in case of fire) can be deactivated (inhibited) so that it can be re-activated
either manually (see below) or automatically (in the case of a fresh fire alarm).
Deactivation of an alarm device
To deactivate an alarm device (e.g. No.3), the following keys should be pressed:
OFF
Alarm
device

Steps carried out are shown on the display as follows:

the ACTIVATION LED in the EXT.AUD.ALARM DEVICE field extinguishes when all alarm devices are
deactivated
the alarm device (e.g. Sounder 003) is deactivated
Activation of an alarm device
The following keys should be pressed to activate an alarm device:
ON

The steps carried out are shown on the display as follows:

the alarm device (e.g. Sounder 003) will be reactivated
Activation of all alarm devices
The following keys should be pressed to deactivate all alarm devices:
OFF
Alarm

or
press the ON/OFF key in the EXT.AUD.ALARM DEVICE field
the ACTIVATE LED in the EXT.AUD.ALARM DEVICE field will extinguish
all alarm devices will be deactivated
