Mounting of the transmission top section GK 40

i) Apply a thin layer of LOCTITE 574 onto the

transmission plane face.

j) Place the transmission top section onto the

transmission housing that the cyl. pin (Item

01) in the transmission housing is

positioned into the fitting bore in the

transmission top section.

k) Bolt together the transmission top section

and the transmission by means of Allen

screws (Item 02).

l) The transmission top section is additionally

bolted with the transmission housing by

means of 2 Allen screws (Item 03) and

hexagon nuts (Item 04).

m) Tightening torque: 46 Nm

n) Put on the centering ring (Item 05) and

fasten it tightly with screws to the pivoted

bogie bearing.
