2.2.2 Installing the mulway valve
Insert the gasket ( ) into the threaded orice marked "TOP" of the mulway valve. Pass a nut ( ) around the short
pipe (
), then ghten the pipe rmly on the mulway valve to ensure sealing (see image ).
Place an O-ring ( ) in the groove of the upper connecon of the lter. Posion the valve with its short pipe by gently
ghtening the nut ( ) so that the assembly can sll move (see image and ).
Place an O-ring ( ) in the groove of the lower connecon of the lter. Pass a nut ( ) around the bent pipe ( ), then
posion the assembly without bonding in this step (see image
).
Gently ghten the nut ( ) and rmly ghten the nut ( ) to obtain perfect alignment between the mulway valve
and the lter (see image
).
Remove the nut ( ) and bent pipe ( ). Prepare and coat the smooth end of the bent/curved secon of pipe
(
) with a non-toxic adhesive which is suitable for this applicaon and the orice marked "BOTTOM" of the mulway
valve.
Reposion the bent pipe/nut assembly and rmly ghten the nut ( ). Allow the adhesive to dry before turning on
the lter.
