5. Entering Text
Text Input Key Functions
Key Function Description
Left soft Key Press to select text input mode.
Directional
Keys
Move the cursor up and down, left and right
during text editing.
* Key
Switch between Lowercase Alphabetic mode,
Standard input mode and Uppercase Alphabetic
# Key Press once to insert a space.

Alphanumeric
Keys
Enter characters 0-9 and the letters from a-z.
In text input mode, press ‘1’ key to enter usual
punctuation marks and symbols; press ‘0’ key to
change to other matching words when in ZiWord
CLR Key
Delete the previous character during text editing.
Press and hold the key to erase all texts.
