12.1CheckingtheCabinets
Thisproceduredescribeshowtoverifythatthecabinetinstallationcomplieswiththe
relateddesignlesandrelatedstandards.
Prerequisite
lAspiritlevel,amultimeter,andacrossheadscrewdriverareready.
lTheCoreNetworkProductHardwareInstallationQualityStandardisready.
Steps
1.Verifythatthecabinetsareinstalledinaproperpositioninaccordancewiththedesign
requirements.
2.Verifythatthecabinetinstallationmeetstheshockproofrequirements.
3.Verifythatthehorizontalandverticaldeviationsofthecabinetsarelessthan3mm,
andthatcabinetfrontsinstalledinarowarealigned,withadeviationlessthan5mm.
4.Usethemultimetertomeasuretheresistancebetweenthecabinetsandground,and
verifythattheresistanceislargerthan5MΩ.
5.Verifythatallscrewsaretightenedproperly.
6.Verifythatnowastematerial,suchasscrapofcabletiesorcables,isleftinthe
cabinets,andthatthereisnodirtorhandprintinsideoroutsidethecabinets.
7.Verifythatallinletsandoutletsonthecabinetsarecoveredwithcoverplatesor
rodent-resistantbags.
8.VerifythattheESDwriststrapisconnectedtotheESDjackofthecabinet.
