Thisproceduredescribeshowtoinstallterminaldevicesinthemonitoringandmaintenance
room.
Prerequisite
Cableties,cutters,andantistaticglovesareready.
Steps
1.Installantistaticcomputerworkbenchesatthespeciedlocationinthemonitoringand
maintenanceroom.
Note:
Theworkbenchesshouldbearrangedwiththeiredgesinline.Theworkbenches
shouldbeclosetoeachotherandallworkbenchsurfacesshouldbeonthesame
level.
2.Installrequiredterminaldevicesandexternaldevices(suchasHUBs)on
workbenches.
3.Connectthepowercablestotheterminaldevicesandthesignalcablestothemonitors.
4.Connectoneendofthenetworkcabletotheterminaldevice.Connecttheotherendof
thecablealongthecableladdertothecorrespondingdeviceintheequipmentroom.
5.Connectthegroundingcablesoftheterminaldevicestogroundingbarsofthe
monitoringandmaintenanceroom.
6.Attachlabelstothecables,andthenarrangeandbindthecables.
