Steps
1.Connectoneendofthenetworkcabletothenetworkinterfaceofthealarmbox,and
thenconnecttheotherendtotheportofthehubortothelayer-2switchthatresides
inthesameLANwiththealarmserver.
2.PerformthefollowingprocedurestoconnecttheDCpowercabletothepowersupply
terminalofthealarmbox.
a.Connecttheblackwiretothe–48VRTNterminalofthepowersupply.
b.Connectthebluewiretothe–48Vterminal.
c.Tightenthewireswiththein-builtscrews.
Note:
Bothwiresmustberespectivelyconnectedtotheterminalofthesametypeatboth
ends.
3.SelecteitherofthefollowingcableroutingmethodstoinstallthePVCcabletrunking
onthewallinaccordancewiththeinstallationplaceofthealarmbox.

ToproutingMountthePVCcabletrunkingalongthewalltothecableladdersothatthe
cablescanberoutedalongthecableladderandthenintothecabinet.
BottomroutingMountthePVCcabletrunkingalongthewalltotheoorsothatthecables
canberoutedalongthecabletrayundertheoorandthenintothecabinet.
4.RoutethepowercableandthenetworkcableintothePVCcabletrunking,andthen
installthecoverplateofthecabletrunking.
