Chapter 4 Networking Mode and System Configuration
Confidential and Proprietary Information of ZTE CORPORATION 71
Typical Configuration 2
The dual-system mode of the two TAA/TAAE boards: It can
support two 2.5 G tangent rings. The two TAA/TAAE boards are
not in the active/standby mode, and they can support four 2.5 G
optical interfaces. Each line card can be configured in the
different subsystems (TAA/TAAE boards). The typical
configuration in the dual-system mode is shown in
Figure 24 and
Figure 25.

Typical Configuration 3
The 622 M mode: It can be used for the lower-end users with
the cost requirements, and the traffic volume required is not
much, for example, the small capacity OLT or ONU point. Now,
the TAAED serves as the core convergence board, and it does
not support the 2.5 G optical interface. The device should be
configured in the active/standby mode. To reduce the cost, the
TAAED board in Slot H1 can be omitted when the users do not
require the high the active/standby performance. The typical
configuration in this mode is shown in
Figure 26 and Figure 27.
