Purpose

equipmentisworkingproperly.
Steps
1.ChecktheEthernetinterfaceconguration.
2.ChecktheIPaddressconguration.
3.Checktheinterfaceclockconguration.
ReferenceStandards
1.Runtheshowinterfacecommandtochecktheworkingmodeofaninterface.
Innormalsituations,therateandtheduplexmodeofanEthernetinterfaceshouldbe
thesameasthoseonaninterfaceofthepeerequipment.Otherwise,theremightbe
ahiddentrouble.
Iftheratesandtheduplexmodesarenotthesame,modifythecongurationatthe
earliestpossible.
2.RuntheshowipinterfacecommandtocheckIPaddressconguration.
Generally,foranaddressonapoint-to-pointinterfaceinterconnectedbetweennetwork
