2 Connect the PLA to your computer.
3 Use a LAN or Ethernet cable (shown below) to connect the LAN or Ethernet port on your adapter to the
same kind of port on your computer.

4 Open the Web Configurator on your computer. See Section 3.2 on page 17 for how to launch the Web
Configurator.
5 You are now ready to extend your HomeGrid network or set up a second network.

4.4 Adding a PLA
This section shows you how to add a new PLA to expand your existing network.
The figure below shows the family computer with Internet access on a HomeGrid network. Expand the
network by adding a new PLA connected to a printer.
