The following illustrations show some simple examples of how the Switch
4200 Family can be used in your network.
Desktop Switch
Example
The example in Figure 22
shows how the Switch 4200 Family can be used
for a group of users that require dedicated 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps
connections to the desktop. The Switch 4200 Family stack uses one of its
built-in 1000BASE-T ports to provide a Gigabit Ethernet link to a Switch
3870 in the basement.
