Placing Calls
To place an external call, enter the telephone number and press key.
Answering Calls
To answer an incoming call, press the key.
Disconnecting Calls
To hang up a call, drop a line, or exit a menu, press the key.
Placing a call on hold
To place a call on hold, press the key while on a call. The LED light will flash
intermittently, the display will say “Call is on hold”, and a periodic reminder tone in the form of a
short ring burst is played. Line 1 (or Line 2, etc) will show on display.
Note Auto-hold feature: While on an active call, pressing any other line key automatically puts
the current call on hold.
Press the Softkey Arrow under the Line 1 (or Line 2, etc) to resume the call.
Handling Multiple Calls
Lines 1-4 can be accessed by pressing the <F>, then selecting the desired line
Active calls will also show above the Softkey Arrows (Line 1, Line 2 etc.)
Mute
Press the Mute Key while on a call.
The display will show “Microphone Mute”, the caller cannot hear you.
Press the Mute Key again to disengage.
Transferring Calls
Blind Transfer
! While on a call, press the <F> key, scroll or page down to Transfer, then Select.
! Dial the extension
! Press the Arrow under Transfer to complete the call
Screened Transfer
! Place the caller on hold
! Use the <F> key to open another line and dial the desired extension!
! After speaking to the party, press the release key to hang up
! To send the call:
! ! Press the Line key to resume the held call
! ! Press <F>, Transfer, Select
! ! Dial the extension and press Transfer to complete the call!
Conferencing Calls
While on a call, press <F> key, page down to Conference, then Select.
Caller is placed on hold
Dial second party
When the second party is on the line, press Conference again.
You are now connected on a 3-way call.
