AlinIQ NCi - Proxy Server Connection
Use this section of the screen to supply information for connecting to the internet
using a proxy server. Proxy server information is required if the analyzer is to
connect to the internet via a proxy server. This may be required to download eVAS
directly from Abbott Point of Care to the analyzer via the internet.

Selecting this check box displays the following prompts:
Proxy Server Type:
Select either:
• HTTP HTTP proxy intercepts web access
• Socks Provides proxy service for UDP data and DNS look up operations
in addition to web access.
Proxy Server Address:
Required. IP address of the proxy server
• Port: Port used by the proxy server. The default is 8080.
Proxy Server User Name:
Network name of the proxy server
Proxy Server Password:
Network password for the proxy server. By default, bullets (••••) are
displayed as you type the password. To display the actual password after
typing it, click this symbol:
