4.1.11. Communication mode of the COM1 serial interface
The serial port of the central unit may be used in different modes:
 Programming mode to program and test the central unit
 ASCII mode for communicating between the central unit and another ASCII device
 MODBUS® for communicating between the central unit and another MODBUS
®
device.
To use one of these communication modes you must:
 Configure the serial interface by selecting one of the proposed parameters in the
configuration window
 Know the position of the RUN/STOP button
 Use the right cable:
- For programming : 07 SK 50 or 07 SK 52
- For ASCII / MODBUS
