Battery life @ 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F)
1 battery – typically 1.2 years
2 batteries – typically 3 years, extended life is possible to give, say, 5 years for two cells with a small degradation in
response time and slightly increased measurement uncertainty, contact ABB for details.
Battery life is shorter with GSM, depending on how frequently it is used and for what period. For example, used once
per day for SMS automated reporting of data logged at 15 minute intervals, the total life of 2 batteries would be typically
reduced to approximately 2 years.
Note. Operation outside ambient temperature limits of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) reduces battery capacity and
shortens battery life.
