3.2.7.1. Battery sizing
The battery sizing should allow for supply outage ride-through autonomy requirements, demand
response capacity requirements and calendar life degradation. Battery use for utility services like Power
Exchanger should always ensure the State of Charge (SOC) of the battery is above the required capacity
for the MV UPS autonomy support.

Under all modes, the HiPerGuard MV UPS maintains the output voltage at its nominal voltage level.
Voltage control and Demand Response are considered independent functions as one does not affect the
other.
