EXTERNAL POWER AND CONTROL CONNECTIONS
Using HCS (hard-clad silica) cables, the maximum cable length from the APS cabinet coupler to the
controller located in the switchgear is 120 m. A pair of 120 m long HCS fiber optic cables, ready for
installation is issued by ABB. The connectors are located on the bottom of the APS cabinet, as shown in
Figure 6.11.

6.6. Modbus TCP/Web interfaces
The Modbus TCP and web interfaces can be physically accessed through the internet coupler XF1.
The connection point is located in the APS enclosure (RJ45 socket).
Figure 6.12 shows the location of internet coupler XF1, in the APS enclosure.
