5.1 Foreword to Maintenance
General maintenance work involves regular visual checks and cleaning to
ensure trouble-free functioning of the turbocharger and the units moun-
ted on it.
¡ The external condition and how dirty the cleaning points given in this
chapter are must be established by visual checks at the specified in-
tervals.
¡ Observe the safety instructions during all maintenance work.
