Selecting type of
set-up
Before a system can be downloaded to a robot controller using the RobInstall tool some prep-
arations and set up must be done. This may be done in one of two ways:

Step Action Illustration/Info
1. Connect a patch-cable between
the Ethernet connection on the
front of the controller and the cor-
responding connection on the PC/
Laptop.
2. Make sure that the Network proto-
col is set for TCP/IP properties.
3. Change the TCP/IP Properties in
accordance with the following
table and figure:
