Ensure not to change the default IP address of the IED.
Connect only a single local PC with PCM600 to the front port. It is only intended for
temporary use, such as commissioning and testing.
4.4.3 Parameter management

The LHMI is used to access the relay parameters. Three types of parameters can be read and
written.

String values
Enumerated values
Numerical values are presented either in integer or in decimal format with minimum and maximum
values. Character strings can be edited character by character. Enumerated values have a
predefined set of selectable values.
4.5 Connecting the LHMI service kit to SAM600-IO

The following connection procedure must be followed to secure a proper connection and
communication between SAM600-IO and LHMI service kit:
1. Power off SAM600-IO
2. Remove rear cover plate (X402) for the service port on SAM600-IO
3. Connect the service port cable between SAM600-IO and the LHMI service kit
4. Power on SAM600-IO
4.6 Removing the LHMI service kit from SAM600–IO

The following removing procedure must be followed to secure a proper detachment between
SAM600-IO and LHMI service kit:
1. Power off SAM600-IO
2. Remove the connection of service port cable between SAM600-IO and the LHMI service kit
3. Attach rear cover plate (X402) for the service port on SAM600-IO
4. Power on SAM600-IO
