Prepare the IED for verification of settings outlined in Section "Preparing the IED
to verify settings".
10.5.1.1 Measuring the operate limit of set values

1. Inject a phase current into the IED with an initial value below that of the
setting.
2. Increase the injected current in the Ln phase until the TRLn (n=1,2) signal
appears.
3. Switch the fault current off.
Observe: Do not exceed the maximum permitted overloading
of the current circuits in the IED.
4. Compare the measured operating current with the set value IP>>.
10.5.1.2 Completing the test

continue to test another function or end the test by changing the TESTMODE
setting to Off. Restore connections and settings to their original values, if they were
changed for testing purposes.

Main menu/Tests/Function status/Current protection/

The Signal Monitoring in PCM600 shows the same signals that are available on the
local HMI.
