Data cable connections
In group installations, a Master wallbox can control up to 15 Slave wallboxes after connecting the respective data
cables. The Master wallbox then centrally manages backend communication, charge current distribution and many
other functions.
To connect up a group installation, data cables must be attached to the internal spring terminals of the Wallbox
eMH2. You can find information regarding recommended data cables in section "Data cable recommendations" on
page 33.
Proceed as follows to connect the wallboxes using data cables:
1 Using the wire stripper, strip the data cables you
inserted into the housing base in Step 10 of Sec-
tion "Electrical connection of the wallbox".
y Cut the data cables to the required length with
the pliers if necessary.
2 Connect the twisted wire strands of the first data
cable with the right hand spring terminal in the
Master wallbox and route the cable to the first
Slave wallbox.

Define a pattern for allocating the colour coded wire strands to the bus system of the spring
terminals.
 Make sure you always keep to this defined allocation pattern for the entire data wiring process!
Otherwise, malfunctions will result.
